“Having been involved in various ceremonies and ceremony work I came to the dance with an open mind and without expectation, for these can be an burden when entering the temple within.
From the moment we entered the arbour a peace settled around us and the dance began. Everyone was present and focused on the tree and a power was forming within the group. The space was alive with the rhythm of the drum. The songs were sung. The flow of unknown forces where moving within us all. The dancers danced to the rhythm of their hearts. The power of life was coursing through our veins and we were there at the centre of the universe. Time was no more. As the days passed the power grew. The focus of each person grew and our strength grew. The prayers became more focused and our inner visions became sharper. Some saw the energies radiating within the tree. Others found a strengh and a peace within. Some let go of old pains and hurts, healing within themselves. Not one person faltered, taken by the power within. And the Earth responded. We all responded as one. One great dance, one great soul, one great life. The dance continued.” ~ Martyn Taylor, Head Man Dancer

Please join us November 2016 for our 3rd annual Dance to Heal the Earth near Cape Town, South Africa!

Our first Dance to Heal the Earth was held in Cape Point, South Africa, November 14-16, 2014. We were joined by Koi San and Khosa Elders, who shared their teachings and dances and song with us. Even the baboons danced with us!
The second Dance took place in November, 2015. It was truly an international dance, with dancers and supporters from North America, Asia and Africa. As always, this year’s dance was profound and powerful.¬†We heard the messages our Relations have for us, fasted for two days, Danced to Heal the Earth and Wove the Web of All Life.

As well, this year we hosted a Seven Generations World Wisdom Gathering, which deepened relationships among the tribes, Afrikaaners and guests from Europe, America, Hawaii and China. Grandmother Robin also facilitated Vision Quest and Pipe Ceremonies, Dance to Heal the Earth, and Co-Creation Workshops.
